about

As the story goes, two rebel monks converged in a musty cellar to close their eyes and wail, meditating in a telepathic link on the sacred mysteries. As was customary at the time, offerings of tobacco were left to burn in the trays while a wall of vintage tube and solid state amplifiers buzzed with electrical current. Their prayers were recorded to a reel of magnetic tape, transcribed to digital audio, and eventually forgotten as the years wore on. Rediscovered and presented here 16 years later, perhaps some meaning will be gleaned from this archaic scroll of aural language after all.
