Interdisciplinary artist Sara Gold is a longtime pillar in our local community from her involvement in James Black Gallery, the Media Arts Committee at Co-op Radio, and her own House of Gold. In 2019 she founded the Vancouver Low Frequency Festival as a community initiative that included field recording walks, workshops, and concerts. Her most recent solo album "Hello, Ocean?" was released on Jaz Records in 2018. Her sound hinges on analog and often vintage electronic gear. Quiet City are proud to present her work in rare trio formation, as Sara joins forces with local luminaries Merlyn Chipman and Andromeda Monk. As the operators of an analog audio/visual feedback machine comprised of their collective hardware, this triumvirate will levitate the place with massive waves of pulsing psychic energy.
